Hulu can help whether you have a DVR or not

Even though Tivo and DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) are more prevalent today than they were even two years ago, not everyone has one. Hulu.com is a great way to watch TV shows for those without DVRs or even those who have a box that didn’t record a show (it’s happened to me numerous times).
Hulu is a joint venture between a few large production companies to bring full episodes of popular television programs and full movies to the Web. All you have to do is go to www.hulu.com and search for your program. Every show isn’t available, but if the series you want is one they carry, you can expect new episodes the day they air on TV. It’s perfect for when my DVR cuts off the last couple minutes of a show and I want to see who got voted off of Hell’s Kitchen.
What’s the catch? Just like broadcast TV, you will see an average of three short commercials during each program.
Here’s a tip: If you refresh the page a few times, you will usually get the option to view one longer commercial up front instead of three smaller ones during the whole show.
Happy viewing!
