This is a very easy recipe that turns simple oyster crackers into a legitimate snack that everyone will enjoy. It only takes about 15 minutes to make and it can be done with children of almost any age.
I always make these for an extra finger snack for the Super Bowl or any other sporting event.
Ingredients
- 1 box Oyster crackers (approx 16 oz. Make sure to get the “Premium” oyster crackers as the cheaper brands are flatter and can result in a lesser quality end product
- ¾ - 1 c vegetable oil
- 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing (dry)
- 1 tablespoon dill
- ½ tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
Directions
- Mix seasonings and Hidden Valley packet with oil.
- Pour over crackers in large bowl. Mix well. Let sit in bowl for 15-20 minutes, stirring a few times to be sure oil gets soaked in.
- Bake on large cookie sheet @ 225 degrees for 15 min.

My mom used to make these all the time and I keep forgetting to ask her for the recipe. These are SO good! Thanks! Now I don’t have to harass her for it.
