Almonds
We all get that craving at work around 3pm and most of time, I was going to the vending maching or to Starbucks or the conveinience store to pick up a snack. Each time it was costing me $2-$6 depending on what I was in the mood for. Well, not any more.
Now I keep a steady supply of nuts in my desk (mainly almonds). They are a great source of protein and even though they have a good amount of fat, it’s the good kind, unsaturated fat. I also don’t have to worry about them spoiling, as nuts can keep for a very long time. I usually just pick up some bulk nuts at Costco, throw them in my drawer and forget about them until I need them.
